The Plateau is a private ranch retreat located on an exotic wildlife ranch in North Texas, thoughtfully sited along the edge of a private lake. The home's elevated setting and surrounding landscape guided every aspect of the design, creating a quiet relationship between architecture, water, and the natural terrain.
A restrained architectural language and an honest palette of native stone, wood, and pipe steel establish a refined interpretation of Texas ranch architecture. Expansive outdoor living spaces and carefully framed views strengthen the connection between the home and its surroundings, allowing the changing landscape and abundant wildlife to become part of the everyday experience.

Honest Materials
Native stone, wood, exposed pipe steel, and durable metal wall cladding establish a restrained material palette rooted in the traditions of Texas ranch architecture. Selected for their authenticity, durability, and ability to weather gracefully, these materials create a refined modern ranch aesthetic that feels both practical and enduring.
